Sick Jenna

Jenna came home from school one day with a headache. She finally threw up around midnight that night, and the way she was acting, we thought it was a migraine. I thought throwing up would help her headache, but nope - she threw up all night and all day the next day. Poor girl couldn't keep even water or medicine down. I finally decided to take her to the doctor, and they hooked her up on an IV to help the dehydration and to get some nausea medicine in her. We are still not sure if she had a migraine and/or a touch of the flu. Thankfully, the IV and medicine helped, but it took the entire next day for her to get her strength and energy back. This picture makes her look pretty bad, but it really is true to how she looked that night. I felt so bad for her, but she was so strong. It's a good thing the nausea medicine knocked her out so she slept through the rest of the IV drip. We took her to the doctor the next week to talk about her headaches (she has had about 4 in the past 2 months, but this one was the worst). He said it could be migraines (lets hope not), but he just wants us to monitor them for now and revisit in 3 months. She has not a headache at all since this night.

Oh, that poor little girl - I HATE IV's, but sometimes they're a necessary evil. I feel so badly for her that she gets migraines (maybe). I hope this was a flu instead, and not a sign of future migraine stuff.
