These are pictures that Mitch took while he was at his last drill. He was gone for 16 days and spent most of it in the desert at Gowen Field in Boise. This is an ASV 15 ton truck. It has an automated turette with a .50cal machine gun and 40mm grenade launcher machine gun. We took it off-roading. Now that's some good 4-wheeling!
The only male in our bunch...husband, daddy, soldier, and security officer. Loves guns, reading, and playing games. He loves his "shoulder puppy", Daisy.
Kristen
Wife, mommy, social worker. Loves to sing, scrapbook, make bows, and play piano.
Jenna
Big sister, age 6,...very curious and full of energy. Her angelic face is a mask for her wild streak. Check out the Jenna-isms.
Rylee
Middle child, age 4,...loves to play in the dirt and loves pink and girly stuff, little jabberbox, loves to tease.
Katelyn
baby, 1 year,...loves to play peek-a-boo, daddy's girl, loves her sisters and loves babies.
Madilyn
Madilyn "Madi" Rae was born 4/25/2011.
Daisy
One of the girls...thinks she's a human, neurotic about her ball, loves blankets, and loves to ride on Mitch's shoulder.
Jenna-isms
Jenna is constantly saying funny things, so I decided to keep a list.
We were talking about playing outside in the snow, and Jenna says "that would be snow cool mom, get it - snow cool?" Instead of "so cool". 11/2010
Jenna was trying to convince me to let her watch 1 more show before bed. She said "mommy, please can I watch 1 more show? Watching shows is my talent". 10/2010
"Mommy, my brain just hatched an idea". 6/28/2010
It snowed last week and Jenna was trying to convince me to let her have a "snow party". She said, "mommy, please can I? It would be so much fun I would jump out of my head". 5/6/2010
We were getting ready to eat dinner Sunday night and Jenna asked what we were having. I told her Chicken Pot Pie, and she thought I said Chicken Pock Pie. She said, "chicken pock pie, that's funny. Does it give you chicken pocks?" 1/24/2010
Rylee-isms
I've had Jenna-isms for a while now. Rylee is starting to say some funny things, so I decided to jott them down too.
Rylee was watching America's Funniest Videos last night and saw a kid stick a pea up his nose. Rylee said, "yuck. Peas don't go in your nose they go in the garbage." (doesn't like them???) 2/2/2010
She was crying earlier and came up to me and saw my computer. She saw the little blue lights on my computer and was trying to swat at them saying "I don't want them to look at me".
We were talking about pigs yesterday. I told Rylee what sound a pig makes (making the oink oink sound by snorting) and she said to me "no mom, a pig says oink oink) so matter of factly.
