Christmas Day

I didn't take many pictures on Christmas Day, but here's what I did take. We had a super awesome Christmas. Christmas Eve, we went over to Mitch's mom's house and had a party and opened gifts. We watched Jeff Dunham's Christmas Special (super funny) after we opened gifts. We had lots of food too, although non much of it got eaten since Brad is recovery from a tonsilectomy, Mitch still felt nauseas, and I had my normal pregnancy nausea. We had fun though.

On Christmas Day, we just lounged all day. The kids slept in until about 8, which was the best! We opened gifts, then watched movies and played Wii. I think we all loved our gifts. I got spoiled! Mitch got me 2 necklaces, both heart shaped (which I absolutely love) and a computer software for my Cricut. He is so thoughtful. Around 11, grandma and grandpa Bridges came over to see our loot and have breakfast. Can I just say, I don't cook breakfast. I tried to make hashbrowns for scratch, and ended up taking a chuck off my thumb nuckle, and the hashbrowns didn't even turn out very well. I think I'll stick to pancakes, waffles, and french toast (those I can do). Anyway, after they left, we just lounged for the day. I was even able to get a nap in.

Sorry this is getting so long. In the evening, we went to my parents for gifts and dads homemade pancakes. I had been craving his pancakes all day!!! We had a great Christmas, and we're not even done. Saturday, we have a party for my mom's side of the family, and Sunday we are going to Mitch's dad's in Sugar City. Fun stuff!

Here is the loot, while it's all still organized and clean. I think the worst part of Christmas is all the clean up after the gifts are opened and scattered!

Rylee opening her main gift, farm animals with a barn. I got a barn in perfect shape at the DI, so we just bought the animals to go with it. She liked it. Jenna is on the couch opening her Chutes and Ladders game.

This was them opening the family gift...a marble tower. Mitch has wanted one of these forever since he had one as a kid. I think it is Jenna's favorite gift.
I love Christmas time because it brings people together so much. I really love to give, and it's great to see reactions from people when you give service and love to them. We had a great Christmas, and I hope the Christmas spirit lasts all year. I hope you had a great Christmas, and we wish you a very happy New Year to come!
